"DIGIERA Phone Disk" Privacy Policy

Dear user: Thank you for choosing "DIGIERA Phone Disk" international private cloud software! Before downloading, installing, registering and using this product, please read carefully and fully understand all the contents of this policy. Your use of this product is deemed as your agreement to be bound by this policy.

I. Scope of Application and Core Definitions

(1) Scope of Application

This policy applies to the "DIGIERA Phone Disk" APP and related services that you use through mobile devices (mobile phones, tablets, etc.) worldwide. This does not apply to services accessed by third parties through this product (such as third-party storage plugins, third-party account login services). The privacy policies of such third-party services are formulated by themselves, and we do not bear any responsibility.

II. Collection and Use of Personal Information

We only collect necessary personal information for the purpose of realizing product functions and ensuring service security, as follows:

(1) Account registration and Login

When you register an account, you need to provide your email address/mobile phone number and verification code for identity verification and account security protection. You can voluntarily add a nickname or profile picture (not mandatory). Failure to do so will not affect the use of core functions. Mobile phone numbers/email addresses are sensitive information. Refusing to provide them will prevent registration from being completed.

(II) Information related to core functions

  1. Storage and Transmission Function: To achieve file backup, upload/download, we will collect your device model, device unique identifier (SN), operating system version, network type, login IP address, and operation logs to ensure transmission stability and troubleshooting. We do not collect the file content you have stored.
  2. Permission Application: Album and storage permissions require your separate authorization to be enabled, and are only used for reading/writing the files you choose to back up. After authorization, it can be withdrawn at any time in the "Settings - Application Permissions" of the device. Once withdrawn, the corresponding function cannot be used, but it will not affect other functions.

(3) Information related to security guarantees

To prevent account theft and malicious attacks, we will collect information on account login locations, frequently used devices, and service failure logs for risk identification and security verification. If your device experiences a serious malfunction, we will send you a warning notification via the email address/mobile phone number you have reserved.

(4) Exceptional circumstances where no authorization is required

According to international regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the following information collection does not require your authorization:

  1. To fulfill legal duties or obligations (such as cooperating with judicial authorities in investigations);
  2. To protect your or others' life and property safety (such as in response to sudden security incidents);
  3. Process information that you have already made public on your own (such as the nickname you share on public platforms);

Non-personal information that has been de-identified is used for product optimization.

III. Use of Cookies and Similar Technologies

To simplify the login process and record your usage preferences (such as default language, storage path), we will store cookies (encrypted small files) on your device for:

  1. No need to re-enter account information;
  2. Identify the legitimacy of the device and prevent malicious logins;

You can disable cookies in your browser or APP Settings, but this may cause some convenient functions to be unavailable.

IV. Storage, Sharing and Transfer of Personal Information

(1) Storage Rules

  1. Storage location: Your personal information (account information, device information) is stored on the overseas server of your choice (such as AWS, Azure overseas nodes), in compliance with local data localization regulations.
  2. Storage period: Only retained until the period necessary to achieve the service purpose (such as during the account's existence period). The account will be deleted or de-identified within 15 days after cancellation.
  3. Security measures: SSL encrypted transmission and AES-256 encrypted storage are adopted to prevent information leakage.

(II) Restrictions on Sharing and Transfer

We will not share your personal information with any third party, except:

Without your written consent, we will not transfer your personal information. In the event of a company merger, acquisition or reorganization, the transferee will be required to continue to abide by this policy; otherwise, your authorization will need to be obtained again.

V. Your Rights to Personal Information

According to international privacy regulations, you have the following rights, which can be exercised through the "Settings - Privacy Center" in the APP or by contacting us:

  1. Access rights: Query your account information, login records, and permission authorization status;
  2. Right to Correction: Modify nickname, profile picture, and reserved contact information (the registered mobile phone number/email address needs to be verified for identity before modification);
  3. Right to withdraw consent: Disable permissions such as album and storage in device Settings, or log out of the account through the APP (account data cannot be recovered after logging out).
  4. Right to Deletion: Request the deletion of your personal information (except as required by laws and regulations to be retained);
  5. Right to Object to Cross-border Data Transfer: If you object to the cross-border transmission of your personal information, you can contact us to adjust the storage server nodes.

VI. Protection of Minors

  1. Minors under the age of 16 who use this product must be accompanied by their guardians to read this policy and obtain consent.
  2. We do not actively collect personal information of minors. If any incorrect collection is found, it will be deleted immediately.
  3. Guardians can contact us to inquire about, correct or delete the personal information of minors.

VII. Policy Updates and Notifications

  1. If there are any significant changes to this policy (such as adjustments to the types of information collected or sharing rules), we will notify you through pop-up Windows on the APP or email, and provide you with a 7-day feedback period.
  2. You can check the latest version in the "About - Privacy Policy" section of the APP. By continuing to use the product, you are deemed to have agreed to the updated policy.

VIII. Contact Us for Dispute Resolution

  1. If you have any questions or complaints regarding the processing of your personal information, you can send an email to: privacy@globalcloudnas.com. We will reply within 15 working days.
  2. Disputes arising from this policy shall be governed by the laws of your country/region. If the dispute cannot be resolved through consultation, it shall be submitted to the arbitration institution with jurisdiction in your region for arbitration. The arbitration award shall be final.
